Destinations Intro
The Destinations section is divided up into six categories:-
FullChatter is all about bikers telling bikers, where to go, and as such a ‘Destination’ can be a definitive place to head for, or a particular place to take in whilst en-route elsewhere.
To paraphrase AW, he of the Lakeland walks, ‘A journey without a destination is just aimless wandering’. (I think it was actually, ‘Life without ambition is like a walk without a destination, just aimless wandering’). There, profound stuff free of charge.
I suppose what we are agreeing with is that a well-planned route with a number of places of interest is likely to be more satisfying and generate longer lasting memories than just drifting.

In fact, if you have a collection of photos from a particular event or place that you’d recommend to others, why not share them, simply by emailing them to us.
* Yes we know, ‘Gallery’, in the ‘Destinations’ may seem to be in an odd place, but before our secondary navigation bar we had no other place for it, and we decided to leave it here, even though it now has it’s completely own place on the second nav bar!

*n.b. We have purposely not included Cities in our destinations. In our experience, the pain and time wasted getting in and out of a major city far outweighs the benefits. If you fancy seeing a major city, make it a separate trip, a cheap flight type city-break weekend rather than part of your road-trip.
