No-one likes biking alone (unless you’re a real saddo) – regular mates away? or biking buddies sold up (e.g. kids on way; partner threatening to leave etc;), try here for new mates for the Sunday blast or a forthcoming roadtrip? Got a Spare Pillion seat? – post here.

    I am rarely back home in Halifax however it would be good to meet up and wind it up with anyone from around the area when I do come home. I generally like blasting up to the dales past Skipton and up round Mhalam and Inglebourgh way I will look out next time I am back home if anyone is interested for a ride round the dales or somewhere else.

    We are intending spending the day in the Yorkshire Dales. The full extent of the ride will be determined by the weather, on the day.

    The general idea for the day is to meet at Squires, Sherburn-in-Elmet for 9.30am. From there we will head up to Leyburn and the Manor Café. Next on to Hawes and then down to Settle, passing the Ribblehead Viaduct.

    If the weather stays dry, we’ll be able to enjoy some of the finest biking roads in England.
