A5004 – Whaley Bridge to Buxton (Goyt Valley)
The A5004 is a fabulous run through the Goyt Valley in Derbyshire, popular with some of the bike mags for photo shoots.
It’s quite demanding of your concentration, riding skills and your bikes set-up.
If it’s your first time on this run, make sue you are riding within your capabilities, there are a couple of testing bends if you get a little ahead of yourself, and we don’t want to lose you as a FullChatter contributor!
There’s a brilliantly, what some would call, technical stretch (tight and twisty to you and me) as you get out over the tops.
It really is a good biking road.
We’ve posted it in three of our area categories, as it’s pretty much where East Mids, West Mids and North West collide.
Our Youtube selection rides it in the opposite direction to our listing title, but it shows the road and as is most good runs, you’ll enjoy it either way or both.
If you have some more px, submit them on site for us to stick in this post, we’d be grateful if nothing else!
