A87 Invergarry to Portree
One of those roads which opens up the ‘top ten..’ debate.
Surely, anyone who has ridden this road, in fine, dry weather, would be happy to be left forever, in eternal transit, if it just meant cavorting up and down this blissful and finest, stretch and section, of Scotland’s vehicular transportation network system.
Whatever you list as a requirement for a Top Ten Road then this road surely has it. Quality of surface; open visibility; twists; turns; ups; downs; scenery and backdrops; low traffic; distance; points of interest; stop-offs …….. whatever we’ve missed in our list, this road has it!
