‘Me And My Statue …..’ – by Members (that’s you!)

This post was inspired by a very good friend of FullChatter.
He’s a guy very much into classic car rallying and has travelled the world doing so. A couple of us have been on recce’s with him (checking routes for rallies).
These photos led to this idea. (In case you are wondering the one with the head missing is Napoleon).
Submit a photo of you and whoever else, alongside the statue of a famous person or character. The only rule is you must be in your leathers or biking gear.
A few ideas:
Freddie Mercury – Montreux, Lake Geneva, Switzerland. Norman Wisdom - Douglas, Isle of Man. George Formby – Douglas, Isle of Man. Napoleon – Waterloo, Belgium. William Tell – Altdorf, Switzerland. Dom Perignon – Ste Menehould, France (also at Epernay). Sherlock Holmes – Meiringen, Switzerland. Joey Dunlop – Isle of Man & Ballymoney, Northern Ireland. Eric Morecambe – Morecambe Bay, England.
*Click on a photo and watch it grow!
Starting with Joey at Ballymoney (re-the rules about being in bike gear – it’s a TT hoody!)
Portwilliam. William Henry Davies: ‘… to stand and stare’.
Monschau, Germany – The Fisherman
The Gorillas … at Portpatrick.

On a recent trip to Scotland we met with Alexander Selkirk (Robinson Crusoe) at Lower Largo and bumped in to Desperate Dan and Minnie the Minx in Dundee.
